Congratulations to the United States Soccer Team for beating the #1 team in the world, Spain, in what is one of the biggest upsets in American sports history.

As a former soccer player, I always enjoy watching the USA Soccer Team play the best teams in the world. Going into today's game, my heart said the USA would win, but my head said the USA would likely lose, considering they were playing the best team on the globe today. But you got to give the USA credit for fighting and clawing all 90 minutes and finding a way to win it all!

The USA will play Brazil, who they lost to 3-0 last week, or South Africa in the Confederations Cup Championship Game on Sunday afternoon! Win or lose on Sunday, this victory is huge for the growing popularity of soccer in America and will be a huge confidence booster for the USA in the World Cup in 2010!
