MVRed.com predicts the electoral map here in June 2008. We display the red, blue, and purple toss up states. We acknowledge that this map will change greatly and if leaners were included Obama would likely have a small 5-15 point lead, in turn winning the White House.

The Bottom Line is this election will be extremely close like the last two. The Electoral College could end up tied at 268 to 268 in one scenario so it will be fun to watch!

Obama will run a 50 state campaign with focus on several larger states, a much different style of campaign than 2000 or 2004. My quick math today indicates your map is off be at least 30. The difference between the 2 campaigns right now is like ‘major league vs. little league.’ Not my opinion, but that of Time Magazine.
More fun facts about McCain:
Here is a partial list of veteran’s groups dissatisfied with veteran John McCain:
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America gave McCain a grade of D for his record of voting against veterans.
(By contrast, Obama got a B+.)
Disabled Veterans of America noted McCain’s dismal 20 percent voting record on veterans’ issues.
(Obama had an 80 percent.)
In a list of “Key Votes,†Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) notes McCain “Voted Against Us†15 times and “Voted For Us†only 8.
(Obama voted for VVA 12 times, and against only once.)
**************
It’s obvious that McCain gets furious about being GWB’s 3rd term. He’s going to have to deal with that opinion for 5 months. I can promise he’s gonna snap… John W. McCain, John McSame, he’s gonna see and hear that everywhere.

|119.30.35.xxx |2010-02-01 12:08:24 ytownConsidering he had cancer that really is no surprise. Secondly where am I wrong. One measly poll in New Jersey blew that lead to 24 for Obama, when ever other poll had McCain tied or up previously, therefore I believe it is a battleground.
Michigan is in play and so is Pennsylvania. Hell if Rasmussen’s CT poll had Obama up 3 there which is a surprise..
But yes we got 5 months. I am just going to cover it as the situation changes each month.

|119.30.35.xxx |2010-02-01 12:09:07 AmerikaWhat are you guys smoking???
That map is off by at least 40 electorial votes, and the election is 5 months away…
The election is a million miles away. John W. McSame has to get thru debates with Obama…
Why does McCain wat to debate? He wants to talk to an audinece bigger than 100 rednecks and a few shrubs…
BTW: Re McCain’s medical records. From 2000 to 2008 he has 1200 pages of medical records!
TWELVE HUNDRED PAGES
That’s about 150 pages per YEAR!!!
That is NOT a healthy man.

RE: Hillary’s ‘consession’ speech… If she’d have been THAT positive over the course of the campaign, she might have won…
