After seven years in prison, former Valley Congressmen Jim Traficant (D) is set to be released from prison today. In the past few weeks, Traficant has responded to some questions from Stan Boney of 33-WYTV and Michelle Nicks of 21-WFMJ. In his replies back, Traficant noted he does not plan to talk with the media in the coming days and if he does do any interviews, it may be on some big national shows first. I could see an interview with Sean Hannity happening, since the two seemed to like each other before Jimbo went off to prison.
Traficant has not stated whether or not he plans on running for Congress again, but he has made it known he plans to clear his name of the charges that put him in jail for seven years.
Once Traficant does begin to make contact with the media, you can bet we will cover it on here. That is really all I got to say on the subject. I've covered the main points I wanted to make over the past month so I'll let you guys discuss your thoughts on what you think Jim Traficant should do in the next few years....
Radio Gig?
Run for Congress?
Live Independent Life?
