MVRed.com is proud to endorse Democrat Dan Moudas in the 17th Congressional District in his battle against Incumbent Democrat Tim Ryan. A conservative Democrat, Dan Moudas will look to tap into the anger and anxiety of many Americans as they see trillions of dollars being spent to save or create jobs, despite a rising unemployment rate and hundreds of thousands of jobs being lost each and every month. Moudas, who has run as a Republican and Democrat in the Girard City Council, currently owns two businesses and is a Vietnam War Veteran.
Now many of you are probably going to ask me why I am supporting a Democrat. Well for one, I am not a partisan Republican like many of you think. Secondly, No Republican will win the 17th Congressional District at this current time. The only way to successfully defeat Tim Ryan is by defeating him in May of 2010, in the Democratic Primaries.
I agree with Moudas on taxes, the 2nd Amendment, the environment, and on the future of health care in this nation. Over the coming months, I plan on interviewing Mr. Moudas so you can become more familiar with the man I hope will be our next Congressmen. I view it like this, if the 17th District could elect a center-right Jim Traficant for over a decade, they could elect a conservative Dan Moudas this time around.
