When Arizona's tough new illegal immigration law was passed last month, I was excited to see some politician, in this case Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R), finally take action on this crisis that is taking place. Although the mainstream media loves to make it out to be some horrible bill that America is overwhelmingly against it, that polls are clearly stating otherwise. An NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll from Wednesday showed 64% of Americans approved the law, while just 34% of Americans disapproved of the law. Obviously America agrees with Jan Brewer and Jim Traficant on immigration, it is a crisis that we cannot afford to wait any longer to act on.
When Jim Traficant and Tim Ryan debate this fall, I hope the voters of the 17th District listen to what each candidate has to say. On issues such as immigration, the debt, health care, and the size of the government, Jim Traficant is on the right side of each of those issues and I think it will lead him to attract more voters to his side. (When I say the right side, I mean he is on the side of the majority of people according to the polls.) Below is Jim Traficant's speech before Congress on immigration:

In July of 2002 in his final days before being sentenced to seven years of prison, Jim Traficant went up before the US House and said what most politicians, Republicans and Democrats alike, are too afraid to say. Traficant said, "I urge you to put troops on our border and I think anyone that jumps the fence should not be made a citizen, they should be thrown out. You are going to be dealing with Homeland Security..." In his time as Congressman, Jim Traficant fought tirelessly to raise awareness of this illegal immigration problem that is crippling our states financially, hurting our education system, and leading to increased crime in the states where illegal immigration is the worst. Looking back, there is no doubt that Jim Traficant was dead on in his analysis of this illegal immigration situation. When Arizona's tough new illegal immigration law was passed last month, I was excited to see some politician, in this case Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R), finally take action on this crisis that is taking place. Sorry, Reds, Traficant is a dog that just won't hunt. Talk about clinging to a philosophy of losing. Jimbo is a felon, and a liar. He is everything that is wrong with the Valley. He was a scumbag as a sheriff, and a scumbag as a congresscritter...
If that is progress, the Valley is truely doomed!!!

I feel the best way to handle the issue is to go after businesses that hire and employ illegal workers.
