According to the Youngstown Vindicator, Jim Traficant is expected to file petitions before 4pm today to run against Tim Ryan in the 17th District or Charlie Wilson in the 6th District. His aide, Linda Kovalchik confirmed to The Vindicator that Traficant will do what many believe is the unthinkable, and that is run for Congress as an ex-convict.

Although he stands a much better shot in the 6th District where there would be a true 3-way race that would make things interesting, he still stands a chance against Tim Ryan in the 17th District. 

I will watch the news closely today and post any breaking news as it becomes available.
