MVRed.com is a conservative blog founded by Michael Metzinger and Dave Hartman, students of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH. MVRed.com was launched on January 28 2008. The site covers politics at the local level in Youngstown and the Greater Mahoning Valley, at the state level in Ohio, and at the national level. The website uses the slogan, “The Valley’s Conservative Voice.“

Michael Metzinger is a 2008 Graduate of Ursuline High School. Michael was a member of the 2007 Division V State Runner-Up Football team where he was the teams Kicker. Michael attends Youngstown State University and is majoring in Finance and Accounting. He currently resides in Austintown, Ohio.

The other co-founder of the website, Dave Hartman, decided this past fall to step down as a blogger on this website after 22 months of blogging here on MVRed.com. We sincerely thank Dave Hartman for his contributions to MVRed.com and for helping to make this website the #1 blog in the Mahoning Valley.
