Every liberal in this country puts George W. Bush to blame for their problems. It’s Bush’s fault we had a Hurricane, it’s Bush’s fault we had earthquakes, it’s Bush’s fault I had a bad day at work, or It’s Bush’s fault for high gas prices. Well the most recent Rasmussen Report poll on the US Congress shows that the only branch of the government the liberal Democrats control has a 9% approval rating… That is 20 points worse than George W. Bush approval ratings.
That’s right the Democrat Congress that has been led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid has an approval rating of 9%. Never did we see approval ratings that low when we had the Republican Leadership from 94-06. Democrats give the Congress a 13% approval rating, while Republicans give it an 8% approval rating.
So before you bitch and moan that George W. Bush is the source of all your problems, I think if you look deeper into it, it’s truly the Democratic Congress you can blame for many of your problems. A big one that comes to my mind would be the thing all of us have to pay: GAS PRICES….[which btw crude oil has gone down $9 on the NYMex in two days]. They are prohibiting the oil companies to drill for more oil, which is the only way we can lower costs now as that would increase supply!

One more time, NO ONE is prohibiting the oil companies from more drilling. They are sitting on leases for about 60 MILLION acres, but they are only exploring and drilling on 12 million of those acres. This is a fact.

Yesterday, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) offered “a bit of a capitulation to the oil companies” by announcing that he would end the federal ban on offshore oil drilling. Not only is McCain’s move a break with environmental activist, but it is also “a reversal of the position he took in his 2000 presidential campaign.” The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank writes:
During his last run for the presidency, in 1999, McCain supported the drilling moratorium, and he scolded the “special interests in Washington” that sought offshore drilling leases. Yesterday, he announced that those very same “moratoria should be lifted” and proposed incentives for the states “in the form of tangible financial rewards, if the states decide to lift those moratoriums.”
In 2000, McCain promised to “never lose sight” of fundamental principles on the issue.

The second page of the Liberal Handbook is devoted to how to go into apoplectic fits whenever a Republican is in the White House. The idea is to make as much constant noise as possible, look as disgustingly stupid (Code Stink) as possible, distort as much truth as possible, tear the USA down as far as possible, and cause general upheaval until the public gets so worn out and exhausted they will vote for a democrat just to get some peace.
It’s the only way they can win.
It isn’t working this time, so instead of giving up, which liberals never do, liberals have gone into meltdown mode. Insane BDS is the result.

you guys no that supply and demand of the actual oil is not whats causing oil prices to go up. they are betting on future contracts of crude oil. mitch can’t wait for you to take a few business classes and see how much goes into setting prices than just supply and demand.
