Hillary Clinton: The Biggest Meltdown In U.S. History

When Senator Hillary Clinton (D) from New York announced her bid for the Democratic nomination in 2007, most Republicans began answering questions on who would be the best to face off against Clinton. Clinton even had some pretty good advantages: a popular president who’s her husband and her years of service in the public eye that most thought was good. Enter Barack Obama. Enter the end of Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President in 2008.
It seems the vote that supported the war in Iraq that Clinton casted was the beginning of the end for her. Now that the war is so unpopular, Obama kept throwing that vote back in Clinton’s face and most Dems followed suit. But, she still had Bill Clinton who used to campaign pretty well back in the day. However he seemed to have lost a little something on Hillary’s campaign trail. He lashed out at Obama supporters and seemed generally angry most of the time.
But her years of service should have been enough to get her the general election, right? Wrong. People began questioning her word and judgment (see sniper fire) and even brought her personality into the mix. Dems hated how fake she sounded.
In the end, Hillary Clinton’s campaign will go down as the biggest screw-up, choke, or meltdown this country has ever seen…or ever will see. This thing was over when she announced her candidacy but 8 months later, numerous debates later and millions of votes casted later…Hillary Clinton has dropped out of the race. But thank you Dems. Thank you for picking the weaker candidate. And maybe Hillary will run again in 2012 against President McCain. Then you guys will realize what a mistake you made.
